General Information
House League 2019 Outdoor Season
The goal of this program is to instill a lifelong passion for the game of soccer. Player and team development is the main focus. All teams will be provided with a head coach to guide the team.
Each player receives a jersey, shorts and socks as part of their registration fee and these must be worn to all games. Players must wear shin guards and soccer cleats or running shoes which are to purchased by the player.
We begin each season with a Meet & Greet with the coach and team which is always the last week of May. Players will be instructed to visit a specific field to meet their coach, receive their soccer uniform and be introduced to all the other players.
Regular Season games will start the first week of June and run through August. Wind Up Day – Saturday August 24th, 2019 (more details to follow later in the season)
Practice then games are played Monday – Thursday evenings starting at 6:00 pm.
Teams play one game and one practice per week.
Regular attendance is expected to ensure a successful season. In order to balance teams in the various divisions, the Club reserves the right to transfer players between teams. We will endeavour to complete the balancing by mid June.
Youth Program
We offer a youth soccer program for all children 4-18 years old.
Adult Soccer Program
We are pleased to offer another fun filled summer for players to enjoy the wonderful game of soccer. We are planning to run a Ladies and Men’s Division again this year on Sunday Nights. Both divisions are open to adults aged 19 – 99.
Ladies Sunday Night Recreational Soccer Program Games take place at 7 pm.
Ladies Travelling Teams We have 2 teams that play in the Durham Soccer League. Games take place on Wednesday evenings starting at 7:00 pm or 9 pm. They travel along the 401 corridor between Cobourg & Pickering and some times up to Uxbridge. All players must register with the Cobourg Soccer Club to participate.
Men’s Sunday Night Recreational Soccer Program: Games will start at 7 pm each week.
Players must wear shin guards that are completely covered by soccer socks. Soccer jerseys should be tucked into the shorts during play. Jewelry (watches, rings, piercings, etc) cannot be worn during the games because of potential injury.
